Streams and Remote Ponds:
Hike to remote streams and ponds to fish for brookies. Experience the beauty of the Adirondack Mts. on the way and while you fishing for those native fish. Because we are located in the Simease Ponds wilderness area of the Adirondacks, we are able to access the trail heads with only a short drive from our lodge. Most of the streams and or ponds are a short to moderate hike from the trail head and can offer great opportunities for viewing and photographing  wildlife. While fishing the ponds you will either be fishing from shore, in float tubes or by small boat if possible. Trips can be done using both fly or spin fishing equiptment and brook trout are the common species fished for and even a remote pike pond is available. Spining and fly rods can be provided for you. All flys and lures are not provided however we will let you know what you will need. Lunches will be provided for full day trips. Packages are also available for camping at these locations so you can visit several remote fishing locations in one trip.
